Year
8
All students have one
lesson per
week of a 1-hour duration with an ICT teacher. Schemes of Work are
based
on the ICT National Strategy, which have been adapted to allow the
continuing
development of students as independent and autonomous users. Year
8
pupils further develop and enhance their skills in the various
applications
learnt in Year 7, plus they will learn how to use Database applications
and the
Web Design
programmes.
Each student
will have the
chance of using the following software packages during Year 8:
